Hi Adrian and welcome to Club Vaio.

The symptoms you describe are usually cured by installing the latest wireless driver.

Check which wireless device your model has (the N-Series Vaios used both the Intel PROWireless and the Atheros devices).

I guess you will find you have the Inter PROSet installed so go to the Intel Website and download the latest XP Driver for your card. Start looking for your driver here: -

http://support.intel.com/support/wireless/wlan/sb/CS-010623.htm

You probably need Version 12.2.0.0 but check it is the correct one for your model by checking in Device Manager.

Good Luck

Hi! I have a Vaio VGN-N11S and from a while my wireless conection is off sometimes. It just doesn't see my network... It comes back after a while without any change in configuration. does any one had the same problem? what should I do? do you think it's a driver malfunction or something more serious?
Thanks,
Adrian
