why the VAIO VGN-FS215S fn keys doesn't work?

I upgraded from Windows XP to Vista and now i'm thinking it was a big mistake. I installed all the drivers but somehow i can't get the fn buttons and the shortcut keys to work. What can i do? I go to Sony's support page but there is no update for hotkeys on vista. Please help

Hi under rug swept and welcome.

Your model is not really designed for vista - I bet it's a bit slow!!

To fix your problem, you need to install the Vista Utilities for your model from here: -

http://support.vaio.sony.co.uk/downloads/updates/updates.asp?site=voe_en_GB_cons&c=-1&s=-1&m=1869&os=7&osl=1

It is essential that you install them in the correct order:

1. Sony Utils DLL -7.0.00.11210
2. Sony Shared Library -3.0.00.10180
3. VAIO Event Service -3.0.00.13110
4. Setting Utility Series -2.0.00.11270

You may have to install these more than once to get your Fn keys to work.
