VGN-FE boot from expresscard??

Hy all,

I have a VGN-FE41s and i want to update it with a SSD expresscard to install my OS and speedup all my system without paid too much (price of ssd hard disk is to high for me now and with e expresscard i can keep my current hard disk for big storage )

Is it possible to boot from the expresscard on a VGN-FE series?

ssd expresscard seems to be a good solution for speed up our laptop no ??

I don't think it is possible if you are using Windows.

Linux yes - Windows no.

thanks for the answer but could you explain why?

I believe it was more dependant of the boot bios capabilty than the OS??

If the expresscard is consider like an usb device so ok it will be difficult without modification to windows to boot on it!!! But if the computer see the expresscardlike a normal HDD i can boot on it with windows no?
