Firmware update for optiarc BC-500S ?

Just tried to play my new Bride Wars Blu-Ray Disc and apparently i need a firmware update, but the problem is...where do i find one? I've looked but can't find a newer version of the one that's installed on my Laptop (1.75) Anyone know where to find one?

What model Vaio do you have?

If there is no firmware update on the download site for your model then it probably does not exist.

What version of WinDVD BD do you have installed? This may be the update you need. Have you downloaded and installed the latest WinDVD BD Update -8.0.9.754 ?

I have the FW21E and i think i have WinDVD BD 8.0.9.670 but i cannot find an update on Vaio Update

Thank you. Without you bringing this to my attention i wouldn't of solved it. The Movie plays fine now
