VGN-AR51J Screen Problem.

Not sure what happened but i upload some screenshots of my problem, hopefully someone can tell me what the problem is.The screen just goes all weird and shuts down.

Hi Fsxx,

welcome to Club VAIO..

Try connecting your Vaio to an external monitor, do you still have the same problem.?

Do you get the same lines when in safe mode.?

To enter safe mode restart your Vaio and when you see the Vaio logo press the F8 key repeatedly..

Do you get the same problem in the BIOS

To enter the BIOS restart your Vaio and when you see the Vaio logo press the F2 key repeatedly..

To exit the BIOS press F9 to reset the BIOS to default and press F10 to save and exit..

Um.. i can't connect another monitor cause it doesn't have the the plug thing in the back of the laptop?

Yeh it has happened in Safe mode and BIOS not sure what you want me to do there.

you should find the VGA port behind the panel on the right hand side of your Vaio just in front of the ethernet port..
