    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi sonnyaw and welcome.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Intermittent faults are not good as they often point at hardware as the cause. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;However, I would try reinstalling the fingerprint driver and seeing if there is an updated version on the web. I think you have Version 1.9.2.111 installed and there will almost certainly be a newer version on the UPEK site: -&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="http://www.upek.com/support/downloads/drivers/windows.asp" target="_blank"&gt;http://www.upek.com/support/downloads/drivers/windows.asp&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If that doesn't fix it you will need to contact Sony Support as a repair may be needed.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt; &lt;img class="lia-deferred-image lia-image-emoji" src="https://community.sony.it/html/@0248C33DDCF34AA61B8F8F33F5AFA5BE/images/smilies/013.png" alt=":wink:" title=":wink:" /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;HAS ANYONE ELSE HAD TROUBLE WITH THE FINGERPRINT READER ON VGN-AW11Z?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;WHEN CLICKING ON ICON IN BOTTOM RIGHT HAND TRAY RECEIVE MESSAGE:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Cannot enroll user.&lt;BR /&gt;An internal error occured (pt: tfmerr -1118).&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;ERROR IS INTERMITTENT AND READER WILL SOMETIMES WORK.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;ANY SUGGESTIONS?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
