i have a vaio FZ21Z about 2 years now . yesterday my screen became green and i do not know way . any help

welcome to Club VAIO..

Try connecting your Vaio to an external monitor, do you still have the same problem.?

Do you get the same green screem when in safe mode.?

To enter safe mode restart your Vaio and when you see the Vaio logo press the F8 key repeatedly..

Do you get the same problem in the BIOS

To enter the BIOS restart your Vaio and when you see the Vaio logo press the F2 key repeatedly..

To exit the BIOS press F9 to reset the BIOS to default and press F10 to save and exit..

to my plasma tv it's ok with hdmi connection . in all other case's the problem is the same .

Hi

I'm guessing you've uploaded a screen print as it appears fine to me..

As the green screen does not appear on your external monitor then cause is more likely the LCD screen, inverter or screen connections, unfortunately a new screen will possible cost more that your vaio's worth.?

Is your vaio still within warranty.?

I suggest you either contact Sony Vaio support, to find contact details for Sony Vaio support..

Open Vaio support, either by clicking Support at the top of this page or use the following link:Vaio support

Under Log-in option 2: Select your VAIO model, next to Select Model Category - Select your model from the drop down list, in your case VGN FZ.

Then next to Select Model - select FZ21Z

Then click Log-In

Once logged select Get In Touch

Or

See if a local repairer in your area can give you an quote for repair, then depending on the cost decide on how you want to proceed..
