Vaio Update Error

Hi

I wonder if anyone else has experienced the same problem? I have recently purchased a Vaio and have run Vaio Update. Unfortunately, even though all the updates have been installed every time Vaio update runs automatically it tries to update the same installation resulting in an error message. The update concerned is 'PMB VAIO Edition plug-in (Click to Disc) 3.2.00.16060' and the resulting error message after it has tried to update is 'The version of PMB VAIO Edition plug-in (Click to Disc) already installed on the computer is the same version. The program will quit.' The error code is 0xA0011000

Any feedback on how to fix this problem would be most appreciated.

This will need to be fixed by Vaio Support. There are some similar issues which we have reported already and are waiting for a fix centrally.

In the meantime I would turn off automatic updating and ask just to be advised of new updates and then ignore this particular update which you know is already installed.
