Hello!

I have a vaio vgn-fw21z and MusicBox is not working anymore!

I get this message: "Vaio Content Folder Setting is not installed"

Can somebody give me a tip what to install to make it work agaian?

Hi Mihai,

You should be able to reinstall 'Vaio Content Folder Setting' by using Vaio Recovery Center.

Click Start > All Programmes and scroll down to Vaio Recovery Center, expand and select 'Vaio Recovery Center.

In the left hand pane select Reinstall Programmes or Drivers.

In the right hand pane click Start and then make sure 'Skip' is checked and click Next.

Click Next on the following window and then on the Programmes tab scroll down to 'Vaio Content Folder Setting'. Select this and then click Next.

Hi rich921!

I do not have vaio recovery center because i did a clean install of windows 7

is there any other method?

Hi Mihai,

I assume that you downloaded and installed Vaio Musicbox from:

http://support.vaio.sony.eu/computing/vaio/downloads/updates/index.aspx?l=en_GB&m=VGN-FW21Z

I would have expected this to have installed all dependences....

As there is no stand alone instalation for Vaio Content Folder Setting I am unsure as how you proceed from here. Maybe someone else may have some further ideas...
