VGN-FZ38M won´t start up at all any more

A couple of months ago I got videoproblems, the screen got crazy and the system freeze. This happened a couple of times and I thought it was time for a re-install(recovery). After that the machine worked well for a couple of weeks.

A month ago the problem accour again but after that I was not able to boot up the system at all. When I power up the system:

- no activity on monitor what so ever

- no sound from fan

- power-led is on

- battery-led is flashing

- HDD/DVD-led is flashing for like two seconds

Any one got an idea or suggestions?

I have tried the tinkering with the memory modules as mentioned on another site...
