Local Area Connection Disabled

Hello,

I have Sony Vaio laptop model: VGN-NW24S and I do know how to switch on the local area connection as my laptop can not connect to the broadband via ethernet cable but wireless conection it's works.

Please help me to solve this issue.

I sorted out via website downloading new update for the adapter.

Hi Peter,

There is more than one method of enabling the Ethernet connection but suggest you try the following.

Open Control Panel > Network and Sharing Center. In the left hand pane click on ‘Manage Network Connections’. Right click ‘Local Area Connection’ and select ‘Enable’.
