The remote control of my VGC-LA3 doesn't work anymore. Signal is transmitted to the desktop but no action happens.

I'm having the same problem...i have the feeling a windows update has something too do with it but im not sure....any ideas?

I have had the same problem with my VGC-LA2 remorte for a few days, but yesterday it started working again !

I've been having problems with my keyboard & mouse not connecting on boot-up, and have logged a call with vaio support. This has been on-going for a month (since I bought my PC) and finally I spoke to someone the other day who is going to 'escalate' the problem.

If they have a solution that solves the remote control, I'll post an update....it may work on your LA3.

hi i had the same problem with my la3 so i did a system restore to the day before my last update an voila my remote works.

Mine is working now. I didn't do anything I just picked it up and pressed the volume button ith hope and it worked....now i can be lazy from 5 metres away:D!
