I purchased the Sony VGC LA2 last September and very soon after experienced the Blue Screen - It moves so very quickly and all I could detect was the word DUMP. It would then re boot and go back to normal. This has gone on sometimes 3 times in a day other times not at all. It happens when I am working and also when the computer is idle, but it always goes back to normal. (We put it down to the Vista) A computer friend noted BUGCODE USB Driver and we have noted your download advice re Hotfix.
More alaming is the BLUE SCREEN which appeared last night. - 'HARDWARE MALFUNCTION'. Call your hardware vendor for support. NMI Parity Check / Memory Parity Error. The system has halted. - Had to use main switch to turn off Computer.
I have since turned on and the system is back to normal.
Your advice would be much appreciated.
