For example if you assign &lt;BR /&gt;a custom icon or thumbnail image to a folder the desktop.ini holds that information.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;This is a hidden system file but if it is showing on the desktop type CONTROL FOLDERS in Start - Search box and then click on Control Folders-, click on the view tab and scroll down to Hide protected operating system files (Recommended). &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If this is unchecked then check it and click Apply.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If it is checked then uncheck it, click apply and then re-check it and again click Apply.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The file should no longer be visible on the desktop.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
