Hi,

I have a Sony PCG-71911M and I'm installing Windows 8 but its saying I must unstall Alps Pointing Device because it isn't compatible with Windows 8. Is there a version available that I can use with Windows 8?

Can you find the correct model number for us please? The one you are quoting is shared by many E-Series Vaios.

It will start VPCE********* and you will find it on the screen surround, in the BIOS, or in Vaio Control Centre ->.System Info.
