Hello, I have the same problems with Vaio VGC-JS3. The fan runs constant in a high level and the computer is very noisy. The temperature of the mainboard 2 min after the start is 74°C, after 5 min 76°C and afer 45min 87°C. (see the screenshots)
Any ideas? Who can help?

Couple of things are doing my head in with this computer. Firstly. it is loud as hell. These Sony all-in-ones are supposed to renowned for being quiet, no? Ive downloaded a program called "Speedfan" and it is telling me the fans are running [non-stop] at 3800rpm!!! No wonder its so noisy. Its not as if I'm doing anything CPU intensive either like playing games - just a bit of web-surfing. Core temperatures hover between 45-55 degrees which is OK I think, - but the "ICH" is up at 88 degrees C !!!!

Problems with the graphics card remain. Every so often the screen will blank out momentarily before coming back to life with a message flashing up that the Intel gfx adaptor stopped working and has "recovered". Really beginning to wish I'd known the JS2 would have a NVidia card in it because the performance of the Intel 4500 is terrible.

These two problems together are really starting to get on my nerves to the extent I may not put up with this computer, however much I like the design of the unit and keyboard. Any suggestions?
