Hi

Now I have upgraded my Sony Vaio VGC RC102 to 2GB of Ram I am looking to upgrade to Windows 7 but am unsure whether to buy an XP upgrade edition or a full version. Does anyone have any advice on this?

I would also appreciate advice on a regression path if the upgrade fails - will the recovery disks I created when I bought the PC still work to get XP back?

NB I have an external drive which I already do my backups to so my data will be safe I'm just concerned I won't be able to get my PC back up and running with XP if the upgrade goes badly wrong.

many thanks in anticipation

Julie
