My vaio care is upgrading but he doesn't, every time i open vaio care tells me i had to upgrade him so can i use it, i do that but still tells me i have a upgrade to do.And i have an error i think on my keyboard lights, they doesn't light anymore.Not even manually with vaio control center..I reinstall my system and i still have the same problem with the vaio care upgrade and the keyboard lights.If anyone can help me, Thank you all very much!

Thanks for support. In the end it was posible to update the vaio care, tried several times with restart every time, but my keyboard lights doesn't care about this update, doesn't work ..i try uninstall vaio control center and install it again the same result my lights didn't turned on, of course i made the settings for the lights to be ON every time in every way. My vaio model is VPCSE2F1E. If you have any ideas thank you very much!

Hi agaricidan,

Try covering the ambient light sensor to see whether the backlights then come on. The sensor is usually located above the keyboard.

Otherwise try reinstalling 'Sony Shared Library' and 'Sony Notebook Utilities'.
