I have checked the memory and monitor they are both fine. I managed to boot the laptop eventually after several atempts but only if i loosen the screws underneath and then leave it still so the screen is on the desk and keyboard side facing the wall. When i managed to boot the laptop to XP and moved it i got the error: page_fault_in_nonpaged_area. This refers to driver conflicts, I do not think this is the issue as it has been fine since i bought it a year ago and i had not upgraded any drivers recently.<BR /><BR />I do use a dual partition Ms Dos 6.22 and Win Xp<BR /><BR />Could this have caused the problem over time or does anyone know the cause of this type of error?<BR /><BR />The eror started under ms dos and up untill today, i managed to boot to the xp partition and after moving the laptop got the page_fault_in_nonpaged_area.
