Screen switches off

Hi!

Well I prefer write in spanish but I look forum and a lot of threads are in english for that reason I write in english jejeje.

My problem is this:I use my vaio, when suddenly the screen switches itself off automatically, however it continues running.I know this because the music was still sounding.

Hi! I also have a FS315B and I have the very same problem; the screen goes off, while the system is still running. Any help?!?!?

Have you checked the monitor settings in Screensaver?
R/C on Desktop select Properties click on Screensaver tab click on Power.
You can then set the switch off time there.
Or is this too easy?

Might well be due to power saving. If you go to control panel > power then you will see "switch monitor off after", change it to never or a lot longer

Hi again!

Thanks for replies. But my problem is diferent. When the screen switches itself off, I can't return back to deskpot unless I do a reset....

That means your inverter or LCD is on the way out
