XDR-S55DAB sitting on WAIT message

My Sony XDR-S55DAB radio has started playing up, when it is powered on it now sticks on the WAIT message and never moves on (and so doesnt play any radio stations!)

I have tried new batteries, pressing the RESET buttong and no joy

Anyone got any ideas?

I am now having the same problem with my Sony XDR-S55DAB. Were you ever able to solve the problem?

Or can someone from Sony please provide steps that can be taken to get this radio working again please?

Try doing a 'reset' as per instructions below and see if it resolves the problem.

Thanks but I have tried that and unfortunately it does not make any difference and the radio remains stuck showing the WAIT message after turning it on.

Is there anything else that can be done to fix this?

My problem was, it got passed "wait" but stuck on "no ensemble" (although it worked fin on FM).

Pressing the reset button as above solved the problem:)
