HELP !!............Suddenly no Audio from any device connected over HDMI

I have a KD-55XF9005. Connected to this are a few HDMI devices (Virgin Cable, UBP-X800 4K Player, PS4 etc. I have a Audio System BDP-S1700 which is connected to TV over HDMI to the ARC port (HDMI3, I think). For a year and a half everything working fine - then suddenly no Audio out of any of these devices. I have tried switching to TV Speakers , no joy. In desperation of trying to trace the fault, I connected a digital antenna, searched for digital channels and it worked - both TV Speakers and Audio System with ability to switch over between them. Have checked cables all seems fine. Any ideas ???
