Lock screen effect missing after lollipop

I just upgraded to lollipop and now im missing the lock screen effect with the particles animation following you finger when swiping.

Also noticed that the facelock option has dissapered from lock/unlock options.

Anyone got any solutions to this?

Do you have a pin lock, password lock or pattern lock?

No just the swipe to unlock. Got no particle effects at all and facelock option is gone as well

Same for me (as uli says) on the tablet,it works nicely. Maybe @Rickard could take a look after the weekend.

Face unlock is available under "smart lock" in security settings. To enable face unlock you must first set a pattern/pin/password lock.

If the "smart lock" menu is still hidden after that, you must go to "security>trusted agents", and turn on smart lock.

Thats right, Face unlock is part of the smart lock written as "Trusted Face". Once a password or pin is set, Thats when you can enable/configure the face unlock.

Have you set any custom wallpaper for the lockscreen? If you are not using one of our themes you may not see the particles.

You can set a theme from Settings -> Personalisation -> Themes.

Nope got no custom wallpaper and it workt perfekt until upgrade. Will check the facelock solution.

Facelock works with the solution above! 🙂 But the particle effect is a no go!

Yeah I did that just now but no go and my workmates z3 and z2 has exactly the same issue. All updated to lollipop.

That's strange, it's works for me but only if i use our themes. If i select a picture under Settings -> Personalisation -> Wallpaper -> Lock screen (or Home and lockscreen) i don't get the particle effect. If i then select the theme called "Xperia" i get the particle effect again. I've forwarded that internally to see if that's how it's supposed to work.

What happens if you try this in safe mode?

No sorry it dident. I have The xperia wallpapers but no sparkcykel effekt.. Positive is that with lollipop my batteri time is mutch better...

Could you try if it works in safe mode? Hold the on/off button and then tap and hold the shutdown option to restart in safe mode.

I got some more information about it not working with other themes and it's not an issue with the software. To see that effect you need to use a default theme and you can't select another picture as wallpaper.

Yeah I tried safemode as well but no luck. Only have xperia wallpapers. When i swipe lock screen the time has a "zoom out" effect but nothing that follows your finger like before...

The effect it's available on the Z3 tablet compact but it is not on the Z3.

The sparkle effect isn't there when using custom lock screen wallpaper..
It works fine with the default theme wallpaper

I've tested it on both Z3 and Z3 Compact and on several units but i can't find any issue with the effect. As long as i use the default theme i see the effect.

Do you also see this issue on Z3 when using the default theme?
