I figured that was the case. Just seems like such an extreme design flaw especially considering the way android 'deletes' files

So I managed to delete hundred of photos and videos the other day with the slip of a finger. I'm seriously cheesed (instead of 20 other choice words). I actually managed to scan the internal memory using one of 7 recovery tools I found, but only found icons and wallpapers etc. I had uploaded/backed up some, but that doesn't solve the problem and this IS a problem. Why is there no recycle bin or undue delete action on this phone? Especially considering the way android 'deletes' files recovery should be an option.
