Overnight my phone decided to not recognize the SIM anymore. I just restarted it in the morning, SIM was accepted, I put in my pin but I still didn't have connection and couldn't call anyone. Over the course of the day I tried multiple restarts, playing with the settings, especially plane-mode because upon calling someone it said "leave plane-mode first" (which I most definetly wasn't in). Finally I got to try the SIM in a different phone and it worked perfectly.
