I had a passcode to enter when I turned the phone on. Now this has disappeared and i cannot find it again. Anyone know what to do?

I don't recall seeing this option with the Xperia Z3 family, just wondering, did you have an antivirus app?

Yes i did but ended up with two notifications at the top i couldn't get rid of so i disabled it

Hi @Nichola2, welcome to our forum!

I'm not quite sure that I completely understand your question, would it be possible for you to elaborate a bit?

There can be two different locks when starting up or restarting your device. One is for the SIM card and the other one is for the screen lock on your device.

To setup a screen lock on your device, go to Settings > Security > Screen lock and choose either PIN, password or pattern.

When the setup is complete, you will now have to enter this code when starting up, restarting or turning on the display of your device.

No i think you have helped. I think it iss the sim card lock. It is a black screen when it comes on and i have to put in my swipe password.. I have reinstalled AVG so will activate it on there and see what happens .
