Charging problem

Ever since I updated my phone every time I charge my phone when the power is off it shows the Sony screen a few seconds then turns off repeatedly. At times it will show the battery & charge amount. It is annoying me. Someone help?

I suppose it is a connection problem.

Normal behaviour as I know it is the SONY text on a white background, then a black screen, then a while the battery + percentage and after a while the screen turns black.

One can revive the screen by pushing the power button.

Yes that's right. It will do this repeatedly like 4 times at least. Constantly turning off and on. I'm going to buy a new charger tonight & see if that works or I'll backup & restore it again. Could be the update.
