In general a reboot of the router can help, as well as clearing/resetting the WiFi settings on your phone.

To learn a bit about WiFi:

Goto settings->Network & internet and tap on the first WiFi network

You will see a screen with all WiFi networks that your phone knows

Tap on the ? sign in the upper right corner and you will see an information page.

Tap and learn.

How to reset your network settings:

Goto settings->Network and Internet -> tap on the 3 dots in the upper right corner and tap reset network settings

Enjoy and report if this helped you.

More information can be found in the FAQ.

Then you can try to do a factory reste and NOT reload your backup.

See what will be the result of a real clean install.
