If your alarm is working as normal when you have your device in &lt;A href="https://community.sony.co.uk/t5/c-sonymobile/safe+mode/pd-p/safe_mode" class="lia-product-mention" data-product="187-1"&gt;safe mode&lt;/A&gt; it is most likely one of your downloaded apps that is causing your alarm to behave this way as these are disabled in safe mode.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I would recommend that you make sure all of you apps are updated, you can do this if you go to: Google Play Store &amp;gt; Tap the 3 lines to the left &amp;gt; My apps &amp;amp; games &amp;gt; Update all.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you are still experiencing the same behavior after updating your apps, I recommend that you go through your apps one by one&amp;nbsp;until you find the one or ones causing this behavior.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Keep me posted how it goes.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>Alarm not working</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;My phone alarms are only vibrating, not making any sounds. All of the settings are correct and this is a new problem, also the alarm appears to work in safe mode. How can I fix this? Android 7.1.1&lt;/P&gt;</description>
