Hello,

A few days ago i poured Water over my Phone to clean it. I did this before to, but now every time i insert a microSD-card, it says that a SIM-card has been inserted and it reboots. Also, it doesn't Shut down any more if I remove the tray. I don't think it's Water damage because the white sticker inside the the tray is still white(I don't know if it is one, and i don't want to test it out:smileynot_talking:). Maybe it's the Software but idk. My 128gb microSD is now lying around unused:smileyworried:.

If anyone knows what's going on, Please reply!

Thanks in advance.

You understand Xperia X wasn't waterproof correct?

My own advice, which may or may not work, is to leave the port open with both SD and SIM removed and leave for a day in a warm (not hot) place.

Wipe SD and SIM with an alcohol wipe used for spectacles then put back in.

See if the errors still occur.

If they do, it may be a case for Local support to take a look at the device.

Thanks for your answer!

I know it's not waterproof, but i thought it's atleast wateresistant. I will try your advice and Post if it helped! I already tried something similar with a hairdryer and it didn't help, but i'll give it a try.

I stretched my Luck to much this Time:smileyworried:
