How to restore the application window button

Hi everyone! How can I restore the button for getting into the application window? It looks Like a six on a dice turned to 90°. I cannot find it somewhere on my home screen. Must have been delated by mistake.

I hope anybody has had the same problem and can tell me how to fix it.

1. Swipe up from the homescreen to access apps, or

2. Long-press on any empty space on your homescreen -> Settings -> Deactivate "Hide apps icon"
