Headphones not working

Since I updated to Oreo my headphones are not working in any music/video related app, I know that my headphones work well because I tested them in another phone, and the headphone jack is working fine as well because with 2 different earbuds I have no problems at all.

There's something interesting, when I plug them in a call and I keep pressing the button of the headphones I can listen through my headphones. Is there any solution to this problem?

That's quite odd, boot in >>> safe mode and test them again.

It didn't help, I just found out that while I keep pressing the button that the headphones have, the music switch from the phone to the headphones, when I stop pressing the button, the music comes from the phone again. Has the polarity been reversed in oreo?

Meanwhile, generic Chinese headphones work as usual. No polarity can affect them
