Phone calls interrupted since last update

Hi there,

it seems that since the last update a few days ago (my X Compact runs on android 8.8.0, the last update was 34.4.A.2.70) all my phone calls (incoming and outgoing) are interrupted. After a few seconds to a few minutes I have really strange noises (has anyone seen Gremlins2 - it sounds like a gremlin in my phone ;)) and the person on the other side doesn't hear anything. Then the phonecall breaks off, what sometimes takes awfully long. Has anyone else experienced this - and is there a fix?

It does not seem to be a problem with my provider, since it happens with calls over LTE and WLAN as well as GSM. Other phones also using the same provider work just fine.

Any ideas? Help would be very appreciated.
