Clock on the status bar does not work

Clock on the status bar doesn't work while clock vidget works correctly. This problem appears after updating to 8.0.0 Android version. Who knows how to fix it?

If it's a one time occurrence, a simple reboot might fix the problem.

Quick Googling mentions that certain apps can cause this even, so you might want to try safe mode too, just to be sure.

Also, have you by any chance disabled any notifications for any apps ? That could also glitched it.

OK, I've just opened safe mode and it's working correctly. Also, all the notifications are enabled

In usual mode it isn't working again

So its most probably a setting or an app. Since I doubt you messed a setting, app is my prime suspect.

Again, from Google search I've seen mentions of : alarm clock, Twitter, Facebook and even Gmail. Some succeeded by uninstalling updates for those apps, and then reapplying them .

There is also one mention of hiding WiFi networks, once enabled to see them again, clock started to work.

I know these suggestions are quite vague, but so far the best I've found. If I find anything else, will write it here.

I've fixed the problem by starting advanced logging. Clock is still working from yesterday.
