Hi

Has anyone had the back cover replaced by Sony or bought the part from ta third party and replaced the cover on their own.

I'm no expecting anyone to endorse doing it yourself im looking to find out a rough cost of sony doing this before i decide myself. As Sony are saying even if i send to them it's going to cost £22 to be sent back.

thanks

The official way would be to send your device to your local service center Local support.

this way you can ensure that the parts used is genuine and that waterresistance is intact

however should you choose to do it yourself. you can find the parts needed online and some disassembly videos on youtube, though it will not be guranteed to test your water resistance anymore
