Problems transfering music by Bluetooth

I have some problems transfering music by Bluetooth with me Sony Xperia z3 compact to a parrot mki9100. I have tried everything and I can find a solution. I don't have problems with the hands free only transfering music. I repair the Phone with the Xperia companion program but it didn't work

I have the same problem with my Xperia Z3... it starts happening when I did the upgrade to latest version of operating system (android 6)... Now i can't find how to fix it... I think Sony wants to make our phones obsolete with some bugs that they put into the code of the latest version of the operating system, just think about...

Also I noticed that if you keep the screen of the phone on this problem don't happens... Try it and let me know how it goes on your phone...

Hi.

It's always good to see I'm not the only one experiencing issues.

I use bluetooth headphones on my Z3 compact on a daily basis, and since yesterday, even though headphones and phone are paired and connected correctly, I don't have any sound. After a bunch of turn on / turn off / forget / pair, etc, I finally manage to have it working again.... for 3 seconds! Then the silence again.

I'm currently using the headphones on my computer, and it's working fine, so it's definitively an issue on the xperia side.

I too came to the conclusion the last android update has something to do with this.

I think the dame the problem is in the last update (Android 6). I report the problem to the Sony customer service but they only guarrantee a goog working with other Sony devices. Could you explain again Julian_t how to solve the problem?

I just managed to make my headphones to work again.

In the Bluetooth settings -> click on the gear next to the device

I unchecked the first option (should something like "audio parameter for call". Sorry, my phone is in french) and left "multimedia" option checked.

Now it works fine

Hope this can solve your issue too
