Z5 Compact - Problem since 6.0 update - Overheating, Battery drain, slow, Camera freezing.

Hi All,

Since having my Z5c i did the update too 6.0 and wish I hadnt. Im not going to go on about the lack of stamina mode (although this is a massive loss).

My network provider hasnt sent the 6.01 update out yet although many others I have met have it already.

Here are the issues im having and was wondering if im alone:

Over heating - on the back in the middle, I could boil and egg on there sometimes - happens even when in my pocket
Extremely slow - simple things like using the camera is pointless - takes about 20 seconds to load and I need to press the shutter button numerous times to work - videos are impossible to make - when starting, pausing and stopping it delays the sound etc and takes 20-30 second to respond when pressing the stop record button.
battery life - Ive had a lot of Z's and its always been a massive plus. However I get literally 9 hours from mine, im hardly using it too. No were near the level of ANY phone i have ever had.

I really want to get it updated too 6.01 as i have been told these issues have gone. Any advice would be appreciated.

Updates vary by country/region, if your device is or was locked to a carrier/network branded, it will be up to them to approve and release the update.

That's normal, the longer you use the device the hotter it will get, more so if you are using heavy apps and/or games or recording in 4K, again, that's normal, the phone won't overheat, it will shutdown before it gets too hot

Are you saving the pictures and/or videos on a SD card? are you using the physical camera shutter ?

We'll need more info to better assist you

charge the phone 100% use it as you normally would then once the battery reaches 10%

settings > battery > take screenshots of:

1. the list

2. tap on the graph and take a screenshot

3. back > tap on the top 4 items on the list > take a screenshot of each

post them all here or upload the screenshots to box or dropbox or google drive or etc and post the link

Please show the battery usage in the settings, because there must be very bad draining by either a bug or 3th party app.
