even 2-3 apps open if that apps take more than 300mb each it will cause hang ups, and besides there isn't really just 2-3 apps running, see your running services screen on settings and see how many apps are opened and cached. and how much ram you are left

@nolramlb
About running apps-» there is only a few apps are running (mobile+third party) and i think there is only 400+bot more than 500 MB Ram is using by these apps and almost 1.3 or 1.4 GB is free and now can you can save that any apps that thdy are taking more than 300 MB, secondly may be you already know about how many memory consume By Mobile message app and mobile Music app and third party is some one else app,,
And cached is also many free,, the main problem could be that soft didn't know how to manage it (by ram and cache)
Could u please give me more reason why it hanged???

Now it is free since you are not using the application as intensively before. But if you would have checked it while it was at that moment you will see how much ram was used.

If you think that there is a problem with the ram management. Then i suggest you perform a software repair using pcc or xperia companion.

I can't , I have the best experience with my device . if you are really worried about what's happening to your device I suggest you take your device to your local service center and ask them the technical specification of the device.

http://support.sonymobile.com/global-en/contactUs/
