Power button and screen inactive problem

Hello everyone my name's Toks and i live in Dubai. My first ever mobile was an Ericsson with an antenba in the 90s. My current phone is a Sony Xperia Z3 dual. I've had no problems with my phone until the last 7 days where I've had issues with the power button not responding and the screen being inactive unless I have an incoming call or I connect the phone to a charger.

try to run on safe mode, observe your phone for recurrence of the problems /t5/FAQ/How-to-boot-your-phone-into-safe-mode/td-p/348008

Thanks for responding nolramlb; not sure how that'll work as the phone isn't powering on. Is there an application I can download and use on a laptop?

i see, can you connect it to the pc? if it can be detected you can perform a software repair using PC companion or Xperia Companion
