Facebook Sync Z3

Hello,

For the past week I have not been receiving push notifications from.fb to my status bar, when I go to my notification tab 5hey are there, bit as I say nothing to my status bar anymore

I have tried everything logical and nothing will work, one thing I have noticed is on the account tab in settings when you click on fb there is no last synced on underneath where there should be so this is obviously the cause

Can anyone help me or advise why tgisbhas happened

Yes, I have done everything logical,, all.is as it should be, just as I explained in account settings there is no sync symbol next to Facebook where there used to be, very frustrating

Settings > accounts > facebook > menu > sync now

if that doesn't work

settings > apps > all > facebook > clear data > restart the phone > facebook > sign in > check again

Can you please supply the Android version of the handset and the Facebook version as well?

Fb version is 72.0.0.22.69

Android version is 5.1.1

Can you try updating your Facebook, the latest version is 73.0.0.18.66?

Done that, still no difference, it's like my phone has just lost the ability to sync Facebook, everything else works fine, very strange

@Nandez What if you try to uninstall updates for facebook? Also, take a look at general notification settings, see if facebook isn't somehow blocked.

Can't see how Facebook would be blocked, everything is switched as it should be, I have just removed new version and I'm going to go back a few versions see if it makes a difference

Keep us updated. You can block notifications for a specific app.

I have tried previous versions of fb and still the same, the only thing I have not tried here is previous version of the android software on my phone, is there a way of installing older software versions?

Instead of going straight for a method that will likely remove your warranty, it is best you perform a backup and then attempt a software repair instead.
