After upgrading to 6.0.1 the camera is in automatic shooting at 8mpxl
Is that normal ???

That is in superior auto, change to manual and you can go to 20.7.

Hi Alexdon,

Thanks but the manual is manual.... Doesn't optimise pic quality according to environment (sun cloud day night etc)
I think we should report to Sony or Google

It has always been like that but it seems that users never realized that, the reason for it, Pixel binning.

It's strange but in superior mode it's shows me 8MP(16:9) but when I switched to manual mode it's show me more options from 2MP to 20MP.

Is this some kind of BUG with marshmallow updates??

There's nothing wrong with the phone, it has been like that, perhaps you didn't noticed but it has been like that.

Since i updated the Stamina Mode(s) are gone.

Special the Ultra Stamina Mode, which was also a score for buying.

But the next and biggest problem is that that the camera App allows me only to make photos with 8mp (16:9 and 4:3) in Automatic Mode.

In the older Versions i can do this also with 21mp in Automatic Mode and the 4:3 Format.

And one other Question, why i can not use an SD Card as external Storage by default like in the Stock Android 6.0.1?

I found an Workaround to do this also and better. So my SD-Card is an internal and External Storage at the same Time.

But why is this Function not activated in my Z3?

It seems that Stamina mode will be reincorporated in future updates.

As for the camera; that's not accurate, the camera is the same as before

Superior auto has been 8mp because of pixel binning, yes, even before the marshmallow update, perhaps you didn't noticed before but it is THE SAME.

As for the storage, this has been asked before, and it was NOT implemented by Sony nor other OEMs (Samsung, LG, etc)

No i had the choice which MP or Format i want to have.

21MP with 4:3 Format, 16:9 with 16mp and so on. The 16:9 Formats had lower MP´s

At this time i can only select between 8MP 4:3 and 8MP 16:9

that's NOT accurate, you can downgrade with flashtool and/or xperifirm and check it, I have a Z3 too btw.

Throughout many apps, i often find myself clicking on the screen over and over and it just does not sense the touch. I've never had issues until after the update. Also, my camera quality has detereorated greatly with superier auto since the update, it appears to be stuck on 8MP so now I use manual but the photos never turn out right. Sony has RUINED my camera with this update. Lastly, why doesn't the microphone work in the SMS body?

Is anyone else having these issues?

read this thread, but a summary, the camera settings hasn't change, it has been 8mp for Superior Auto since the phone was released.

Maybe so, but my photos and shots have gone. The photos are now grainy and extremely bright and this started the moment after I updated. You can't tell me that the update didn't change the camera behaviour because it absolutely has. Others on the web are claiming the same thing with this particular update and device.
