Camera issues

I hope there is someone out there that can help, I have recently got a xperia z5 and found out that the camera is only in landscape and can't seem to change to auto rotate so can take pictures vertical or landscape. I hope that I don't have to always take pics in landscape. Thanks in advance.

Try to clear the camera app data.

1. Tap the Application screen icon.
2. Find and tap Settings > Apps.
3. Swipe to the All tab.
4. Find and tap on the camera app.
5. Tap Force stop > Clear data.
6. Restart the phone

Welcome to the community.

Do you have auto rotate enabled?

To enable it either swipe down from the Sony logo with two fingers, and tap on the phone icon, or go to Settings > Display > When Phone is Rotated > Rotate the contents of the screen.
