I suggest that you try to repair the phone software using PC Companion..

Before repairing your device you may want to backup your information first. Check out this topic for more information on how to.

If the issue should still remain I think that this needs to be examined and fixed at a repair center. For more information about how to submit your phone for repair and where, contact your local support team.

I do also faced same problem since 12th of June. I have submitted the phone to Local sony center and waiting for reply when I can get bcak my phone.

Sony should check for this Hardware issue.

I've had this phone for about 2 months now and this is the first time that I have any serious issues. I have seen and heard of many other people who have had the exact same problem with this device. Please Sony, fix this issue! Also, is there anything that I can do to help me fix this issue ASAP?

Same problem...sony fixed it through assistance, but after one mounth mic start making noise and finnally stop working. SONY says that I m the first with this problem, but a lot of customer reported the same. In six mounth the phone work properly just 30 days

@kulsheetal they will change the part without solving the problem. More than this, repair policy is discriminatory by country. In Usa, for the same problem, sony changes the phone. Sony is refusing to face this problem problably because the m4 architecture is an epic fail

You are right. In fact strange staff is that sony is not able to correlate. It is Sony assuming (and answering) that similar (where not identical) problems are not correlated. Problably, customers respect is not enough to search for a solution: in six mounth i had thensame two problems of a lot of people writing here but assistance is affirming that they have not knowledge about that. I m not not assuming, but i m sure i give Sony money for.the mobile.
