Xperia z3 tablet compact do not boot

I have a xperia z3 tablet compact a was using it , and it totally discharged, the it won't boot , only the white led flash , anybody here know about this problem.

Connect the tablet to a wall charger > press and hold power & volume up for 10 seconds > let it charge for 2 to 3 hours.

Hello Sony,

I have the Z3 tablet compact and i don't know how to change the album application in stock camera when i click to review the photo. Sony's album has some errors and i really need to use quickpic. On my M 4.3 (upgrade) i am allowed to change the album and to review photos in sony's camera application with quickpic. Please help!

Go into settings /apps / tap 3 dots in top right corner and select Reset App Preferences.

It will restore all default apps actions, reenable disabled apps, restore warnings and enable all notifications.

It still doesn't work... On my xperia M upgraded to 4.3, after rebooting the system, it will keep asking me what album\application to use, even though i put before 'always use'... While on 4.4 Z3 tablet compact, by mistake after a few hours after i bought it, i put 'always use' on sony album. It's now 2 months and i don't have a clue what is happening. After doing cleaning, reseting and many others it keeps entering in album (while i am on stock camera and wanting to look at taken photos). It only remains to do a factory reset (or maybe an android 5 upgrade, i hope) but i have some third party applications that i don't want to lose... Can somebody help me?

Sergio, I've tested on Z3 tablet and nothing worked (on xperia M 4.3 works)...

Worst even, i did a factory reset and NOTHING HAPPENED!... It remains sony'a album as the default application like quckpic never existed even though i installed it first...

I am at my last breath with sony products, i was for ten years the most crazy user ever, more than 20 products bought with so devotion to upgrade an to improve my experience and even make others to buy... but not I AM DONE WITH YOU!

Xperia U, M problems with defective hardware (camera lens) and big software issues, no service center, no forum help, no good software upgrades... Now Z3... IT"S JUST TOO MUCH!

I am from Romania and it seems you screwed up all my hopes to be a proud user... Sony, Make.GoodBye:smileysad:

I don't know why it doesn't work after factory reset. Are you sure that it is not a problem with this app? I have Album app on my device but everytime I open an image it asks me to select which one I want to open.

You can try to disable Album altogether and see what happens. Go into Settings / Apps / All, scroll to Album app. Select uninstall updates and then select disable. Reboot the device and see the effect.

And one more thing - are you sure that you doesn't restore backup with default app selected after factory reset?

But yesterday i've tried everything... It seems that only option left it's a good android 5 upgrade, otherwise it feels so wrong...

Not to mention that 2 weeks ago, i also had a low battery freeze, without being able to boot in any way... Only after 20 minutes it turned on just random... I was so scared that i felt to cry, because I had invested some money that i don't earn with ease...

I am so sorry that Sony dropped its pride, name and quality...

I am sad because I couldn’t upgrade by PcCompanion my tablet z3 tablet to 23.1.A.0.690 - SGP611 but only by flash tool. That means you don’t really care to make it easy to customers. I also experienced very little differences: camera quality is mostly the same, and sadly, the album application is still the default application without any possibility to change to other album application.

Sony, it’s hard for me to imagine that from past time quality that I’ve experienced, now to be so disappointed.

I saw the latest E4 camera quality, Z4 also… Sony, it’s not good! Take a look of the quality of some my past shots please:

Those were my 5mp J10i device camera quality. Sound quality was BEST. It had Mega Bass the best sound enhancer I’ve ever tried. Where are you Sony?

What maker is helping you to create those latest weak devices? I miss that quality that was almost flawless but surely were amazingly made! Cheap price tag, very good quality, with great fun to use!

Past 5mp sensors were better and why is it hard to put same processing to bigger sensors. I don’t care about having 100 MP to say so, but the quality must be kept.

I was thinking to buy the E4 device, but its camera is a nightmare. It’s not Sony!

This is it, Sony, I promise you if you will not come back with same close quality as the Elm’s (M that I have now is close to it, but it’s not enough) I will not buy Sony smartphones anymore. I know you stll can do best for your fans!

For now I will not pretend anything about Z3 tablet, even the upgrade was not good and was disappointing to experience camera quality… But on the future if you skip camera and sound quality on mid & low end devices, I will not buy anymore from you!

I really don’t like to write this kind of letters. But I hope you will understand!
