sony xperia mini pro display problems

hi,

my xperia mini pro was not turning on or connecting to pc companion....however, i tried again and it worked...but the thing is the phone turns on, connects to pc companion but the display doesnt work. i can unlock the phone and even receive calls but the screen in blank. At first this issue was there only when i used the slide keyboard....it would turn blank but it would work normally after sliding the keyboard back. Now, the screen doesnt display anything at all. I cant understand....please help....is here any way that i can solve this issue??

You could always try to make a software repair using Sony Update Service:

If the problem persists it sounds like you should have your phone examined by a service center. Please contact your local Xperia support team for more information:

my phone also have the same problem... i'm try to retrieve the contact information in the phone using the pc compainion but i need to use the screen to get the contact transfer.

I faced the same issue 1.5 year back. Frequency of this problem keeps on increasing and at one time your display doesnt work at all. Last time I took this to sony service center and they said there is issue with slider, they changed slider strip and phone started working fine.

Now few days back i faced exactly the same issue and repair guys said that this is an motherboard issue. I cant understand why?
