Qualcomm Batteryguru app?

Greetings, I have just recently install the app Batteryguru by Qualcomm from Playstore. It is described as official app from and for Qualcomm processor phone only. I am still testing the efficacy. Could Sony support provides me some useful information if the app will or will not interfere with the Extended Standby Mode efficacy? Can I turn on both simultaneously?

you do NOT need a battery app, battery apps as well as antivirus, ram apps, task killers, task managers, booster apps are not needed and will drain your battery, slow down your phone and in some cases create issues.

it doesn't matter what you do your battery life will not improve unless you disable apps that you don't need or unisntall them, also if you have your data on, wifi on, use your phone often the battery life will not improve.

Yes it is.

I agree with you that those apps you mentioned were not required and for the reasons you mentioned. I have install ''Nil'' of those.

I just put a try on that because I saw the youtube video from Qualcomm coincidently. Considering the reputation I just put a try on it.

I tried disable the built in app that i do not use. but some misbehavious occurs. for eg movie and sony select, tv launcher. after that my album app is not able to load the photos and videos/movies correctly. Hence I enable it , yet the error persists (it still persists after restarting phone),

The final solution was I open the ESexplorer file manager find the DCIM folder open an image with album app. Then everything was solve. Hence I do not encourage and do not anymore disable a built in app.

and yes I never keep an rarely use or non-use app too long.

Just in case, do you know if location services enabled will cause more significant bettery drain? even though the GPS is turned off?

location services will drain your battery faster, certain apps will use this and place ads on the app, so it will drain your battery in 2 ways, one by using the GPS and also with ads on apps.
