I'm sorry to see that issue, but only your Local support can answer warranty questions as this is a global user based forum. My opinion, it won't be covered.

Like @uliwooly suggested you should get in contact with your Local support team for assistance with having your device sent in to an authorized service center. You local support can also assist you with question you may have regarding service routines and warranty coverage in your country.
