Hi, my Tv has stopped working and the red light is flashing 6 times, I have unplugged for 24 hours and switched back on and then completed a factory reset and its worked fine for several hours and then the same problem, and repeated the rest after turning off for 24 hours and the same, it works for several hours and then shuts down again, with the red light flashing 6 times. Can you please advise?

Also how do I reset from back of Tv, it has the on button with cursors underneath, but cannot find info to reset on this configuration?

Follow the Android/GoogleTV reset path even though your TV isn’t one of those,

However, know that user recovery from six reds isn’t usually possible, and you may have to consider if it will be economic to have Sony repair this 2012 TV, if they even can 😢
