YouView EPG changed to B&W

Hello guys,

I have a couple years old Sony KD55A8 TV with YouView. It's working fine but I've only just noticed that the EPG has changed to B&W. I've looked at the Settings and Accessibility but it's all turned off so I'm not sure what's happened there. Any ideas how I can restore the old Blue look?

It sounds like you have got High Contrast turned on.

I’d expect that to be an Accessibility setting, so possibly you missed it, or didn’t recognise it.

Or maybe it gets set in a different place?

with all sorts of suggestions, including that for some, it’s not a settings issue at all, just the set going a bit doolally, and wanting that universal Sony Bravia panacea, a Factory Reset.

Have you inadvertently switched the TV mode from TV & Catch Up (YouView) to TV (FreeView).

Press the Settings button on your remote control.

Click to the left on screen and select Settings.

Select Channel & Inputs. Click right and scroll down to TV button shortcut.

Click right and select TV, select Live TV & Catch Up.

Exit the settings menus.

Press the TV button on your remote, now press the Guide button the TV guide should now be back

to YouView.
