Connecting AG9 remote to Skybox

The remote for my AG9 is no longer recognised by my Sky box and therefore will not control the Sky menu's. At time of set up it was all working ok, but lost ability to manage sky box for some unknown reason yesterday. Does anyone know best way to reconnect the Sony remote control to manage Sky?

Can you please try if a power reset solves the issue?

Just unplug your TV for some minutes from AC (and maybe your Sky Box as well).
